Jeannie Bradshaw and her husband, D.J., live in
Hawkinsville, Ga. Jeannie began her involvement with draft
horses in 2003 after buying a Spotted Draft filly off of a
Canadian PMU farm. Jeannie and D.J. have since added a
Belgian gelding to the mix and they both enjoy learning more
and more about these big kids!!! They also have a Quarter
Horse geilding ‘yard dog’ as well as a variety of other pets
and a small herd of commercial cattle. Jeannie is
certified to teach Agriculture Education and is currently
employed with the Pulaski County School System.
This is Jeannie’s second year as a member of the GDHA and
she is excited about being able to be more involved as a

My
husband and I have been members of the Georgia Draft Horse Association
for several years. I have served on the board in the past and have been elected to serve as Secretary/Treasurer.
We purchased a two year old gelding ten years ago and joined the
association right after that. We live on seven acres in White, Georgia
and currently have five Belgians. We purchased two full
brothers and look forward to showing them at Perry. We enjoy
relaxing by driving the horses in the evening or just watching them in
the pasture.
I work for the Cobb County Police Department and have been employed with them for over twenty years.

Although
Julie is "horseless" she has a keen interest and is always willing to
lend a hand! If you have Drafts and would be willing to have
someone to help with your horses at shows or at your home place, please
give her a call!
